ACM's Tradeshow has become an annual success providing customers the opportunity to see, first hand, the broad capability of the suppliers in Connecticut and southwestern Massachusetts' aerospace supply chain.  And equally as important is the opportunity for members to meet and establish networked business opportunities.

This year, customers from Rolls-Royce, UTC,  Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky Aircraft, Helicopter Support Services, UTC Power Systems, Mitsubishi America, Bombardier and MTU Aero visited with the 45 ACM members having displays.

Our keynote speaker was Allan Swan, Rolls-Royce's Vice President of Supply Chain Planning and Control.  Along with Mr. Swan came his Team of procurement personnel who took the opportunity to follow up their tradeshow meetings with visits to select firms that now will begin the process of qualifying as new suppliers!  Following welcoming remarks by ACM President Paul Murphy, Mr. Swan provided an overview of Rolls-Royce's strategy, product line and business/market projections and spoke of team work, transparency and the need for "suppliers with capable lean operations that maintain high efficiency and flexibility."
